Laserplan was formed in 2008 in response to an ever growing demand by clients for a straightforward, competitive, focused and friendly professional plan-drawing service. Traditional avenues for obtaining plans no longer satisfied the needs of conveyancers and clients alike.
Following the enactment of the Land Registration Act 2002 all leases granted for a term of 7 years or more are now required to be registered. Since this often involves part of an existing title being leased (for example a ground floor shop, or a single level flat), the Land Registry now requires compliant plans setting out the exact extent of the premises to be included with the leasehold title, failing which applications to register will be rejected.
